If they take meals and fruits together l, then our body first digest the fruits followed by the meal. Some people also believe that having fruits just before going to bed will induce sleep,but it is just opposite Fruits release sugar in the body which will spike your energy and you will have difficulty in falling asleep.your fruit choice before bedtime is equally important. Do not eat a plate full of fruits at night, if you are craving for sweet then only have a slice of fruits that are low in sugar and high in fibre. Also do not sleep immediately, after eating fruits. THE BOTTOM LINE It is important to keep a gap between your meal timing and fruits timings and possible try to have fruits earlier in evening before your dinner. This way your digestive system will be able to digest the food properly
